Big City Eyes

Following her divorce, native Manhattanite and freelance journalist Lily Davis packs up all her belongings--including her troubled teenage son, Sam--and moves to Sakonnet Bay, Long Island. The small seaside town does wonders for Lily`s peace of mind for a few weeks. Before long, however, Lily`s old neuroses kick into gear. The gossip mill of small town life has rendered her completely paranoid. To make things worse, Lily suspects that the naked woman she and police sergeant Tom McKee discovered in an empty house was murdered. As for Sam, Lily finds that whatever motivated him to sneak out to nightclubs and hide a knife in his dresser in the big city is inspiring him once again. He`s got a weird haircut and has taken up with a Klingon-speaking girlfriend. Will Lily ever adjust to her new life in this tiny hamlet, or will she forever see this quaint town through her cynical, big city eyes?
