Sweepers are secret government cleanup agents. Wherever there is a political, military, or intelligence mess, a sweeper comes in to clean it up. Navy Commander Karen Lawrence has been assigned the investigation of the deaths of two people close to Admiral William Sherman. In her investigation, she turns up evidence that the Pentagon wants lost, but she is determined to uncover the truth. Now it seems that someone is after her--someone who's been classified as dead for over 20 years. Could she be the target of a sweeper?
