While in Wyoming for a trial, special agent Antonio Burns heads off to the mountains to indulge in his favorite pastime of rock climbing. When a young woman dies on the mountain, his investigation draws him into an insular climbing clique held under the near-hypnotic control of the deceptively charming Billy Heller.
