When he receives word that his daughter has been arrested and jailed on drug charges in Thailand, Danny Innes decides to travel there and try to help her even though the two have been estranged for a number of years. Arriving with his religious son and pool-playing buddy, Danny finds that life as a blue-collar laborer has little prepared him for his bizarre descent into the drug trade of the Far East.
