Former San Francisco police officer Dismas Hardy is living the life his wife and kids always wanted for him. Safely enclosed within a labyrinthine downtown office, he is now working as a highly paid corporate lawyer. His quiet existence takes a turn, however, when former baseball star Graham Russo is charged with the murder of his dying father and Dismas is assigned to defend him. Dismas doesn`t trust Graham.
