Dave DeMarco is shocked when he hears that his friend Lisa Merrick has died in a plane crash. He's even more shocked, however, when Lisa calls him to say she's not dead--she's just in Mexico and she needs his help. In Mexico, Dave discovers that Lisa is embroiled in some pretty dangerous situations and, as he works to free her, he puts his own life in danger as well. Despite all the intrigue that surrounds them, Dave and Lisa can not ignore their passionate feelings for each other, a situation which is complicated by the fact that Dave is still mourning the death of his wife.
