Plain Heathen Mischief

In Martin Clark's second novel, Joel King, a Baptist minister of dubious morals, is just getting out of jail, only to find that his wife wants a divorce. Worse yet, he's being sued for $5 million. And he's being hounded by various lawyers, cops, con men, and family members out for his blood. How Joel manages to survive in the midst of it all is the basis for Clark's very comic novel that takes its luckless hero across America and back in search of, among other things, redemption.
