This paranormal thriller takes place in an alternate world very similar to our own except that a small percentage of people are born with violet eyes...and the ability to communicate with the dead. Naturally, such people--known as Violets--are in great demand when prosecuting murders, as the victims themselves serve as witnesses. When a black-masked (and therefore unidentifiable) serial killer begins targeting Violets, FBI agent Dan Atwater teams up with Violet Natalie Lindstrom on the case.
