Sheriff Dale Townsend is confused. He found a man armed with two knives standing over the body of Angela Lamond. Angela has been stabbed to death, and Dale thinks the case is closed until he learns that there are no traces of blood, and no fingerprints, on the knives. Is this mysterious stranger Angela Lamond's killer or is there a far more sinister plot afoot? Stumped, Dale turns to his old friend Alex Rourke, a former FBI agent now working as a private detective. Will Alex be able to help Dale unravel the mystery of this very strange murder?
