A pediatrician and a detective fall in love as they search for the pediatrician's missing nephew in this work of romantic suspense. Andrew and Sara Taylor are flying to Florida under FBI protection so that Andrew can testify in a drug-trafficking trial there. Meanwhile, Dr. Lorrie Ryan, Sara's sister, offers to take their seven-year-old son Davey on a camping trip. But when Davey inadvertently witnesses a murder, he disappears into the woods, endangered not only by the killer intent on silencing him, but by his hemophilia, which requires daily injections to keep it in check.
