In Philadelphia, home of Benjamin Franklin, scholars of the great man are going wild. Rebecca Lee has been accused of plagiarism in her last book. Wally Rush, who writes bestsellers about Ben, has just died and left behind an explosive letter for his friend Reginald Taylor, who is having love triangle problems in addition to his scholarly ones. Jim Lehrer`s homage to Franklin is also a wild and wacky novel of academia, with all the requisite rivalry, arrogance, and misplaced ambition.
